Academic Level

Applicants should have completed post-secondary classes in early childhood education or who have achieved certification

Experience
Must have previous experience as teaching assistants or child-care workers

Certification
Early Childhood Education or Childcare Certificate
Food Handlers Certificate
Police Clearance
Key Skills
Nursery school teachers should have knowledge of phonics.

Teachers must be creative, patient, and understanding when working with children in stressful situations.

Living in/near Diamond would be an asset.
