16. The ultimate goal of a permanent relationship with the Lord Jesus by faith is the eternal life, which he promised to those who persevere until the end. "How much, however, the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, to the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part in the Lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." (Revelation 21.8)
