GenX recently sent a contingent to a special breakfast seminar hosted by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), one of Guyana’s leading business organisations. The seminar focused on the upcoming Guyana Development Bank and the opportunities it may provide for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The GDB is expected to make financing and business support more accessible to small and medium-sized businesses, young entrepreneurs, women and persons living with disabilities.

This Thursday, GenX will bring the key information and insights learned at the seminar directly to the community through a free Essential Outreach and Panel Discussion.

The panel will explore:
- What was learned about the Guyana Development Bank
- Who may be eligible to benefit
- Why no-collateral financing could be a major opportunity
- How entrepreneurs can begin preparing now

This session is ideal for aspiring entrepreneurs, small-business owners and anyone with a serious business idea. Persons 18 years and older are especially encouraged to attend.
