Congrats to our batting all-rounder Shahid Ramzan on a debut fifty in the Sir Garfield Sobers International U-19 cricket tournament in Barbados.
Left-handed opener, Ramzan, a former National Under-15 player, stroked an unbeaten 59 off 91 balls for "Top Level Cricket Academy" of Guyana versus Presentation College of Trinidad and Tobago.
Despite his gritty knock, "Top Level" fell short of a revised target of 178, making 159-5 from the allotted 34 overs. Skipper Mickel Sharma made 40 not out off 22, smashing three sixes and two fours, in the rain-affected run-chase.
Presentation College earlier made 208 all out from their 40 overs.
"Top Level Cricket Academy" will be in action again today when they face Christ Church Foundation School of Barbados.
