LuxSteez Cosplay is a Jamaican-born professional cosplayer and foamsmith, bringing multiple characters alive with her amazing skills in prop making and incredible cosplay looks. Some of her most famous cosplays are ‘Gachiakuta’s Semiu and ‘Arcane’s Sevika, both of which you might have seen her in during the FumaCon weekend!
Prior to the convention, our team was showing her the many flavours of Guyana with the help of tours, where she walked through Bourda Market to sample famous fruits such as mamee and guinep. Lux was also able to try some of our popular street food and snacks, such as potato ball, and dhal puri and mango sour as well. During her time here, Lux also explored our National Park to feed the manatees and enjoyed some amazing chicken curry in the city! Wilderness Explorers provided Lux and our guests with a complimentary Demerara River Sunset Tour.
During the FumaCon weekend, LuxSteez graced the stage with a spectacular performance showcasing her Sevika cosplay from the show ‘Arcane.’ In addition, our attendees also had the chance to interact with Lux at her booth displaying her work with some prints of her in amazingly crafted cosplays on sale.
LuxSteez also served as our Head Judge for our Individual Cosplay Competition. With her expertise & experience competing in various cosplay contests, Lux provided adequate critique, feedback and advice to our talented Guyanese cosplayers!

During this workshop, interested participants will receive all of the materials needed for this class 💕
There’s no age limit for ticketholders to engage in this interactive workshop 🫂
