I’m getting closer to Alaska! One more flight to the state, then two more after that to get to the headwaters of the Kokalik River. If you’re confused about the content of this post, that’s fair! This page is largely about animal services, but for the next couple of weeks, I’m going to mix in some content from an epic canoe adventure in northern Alaska! Join my friends and I virtually as we travel through the land of the midnight sun and take some time to enjoy the incredible beauty of life on earth.

This is what 41 Y Pole heads look like.
And yes, they’re all going to one customer. 🙂
Why?
Because I spent several days with their team, introducing them to the Y Pole system and talking about how it can fit into their handling program.
Not because the tool does the work for you.
Because when used appropriately, it can give staff more options, help mitigate risk, improve safety, and create better outcomes for the animals in their care.
One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that most organizations don’t have enough handling options available to their staff.
In fact, I’d be willing to bet I can make a pretty convincing case that you need more of these than you currently have.
If you’d like to have that conversation, let’s talk.
We’re happy to offer a free initial consultation to discuss your organization’s needs and whether the Y Pole system might be a good fit.
