The final day of Posidonia 2026 was a particularly rewarding one for us, as we took part in the 10th Youth Day, organized by the YES to Shipping Forum—a day dedicated to connecting young people with the maritime industry.
Our General Manager, Carola Yannouli, took the stage to share insights from her own professional journey and to answer questions from the young attendees. We were also glad to welcome many of them to our stand, where they had the chance to meet our team and get a first-hand look at the maritime industry up close. A key moment of the day was the presentation of a global survey conducted across 12 countries, which found that the greatest barrier to attracting young people to shipping is not a lack of interest, but limited awareness and access to the industry—a gap we are glad to help bridge.
