📍 Νανοζυθοποιείο Κυκάω, Πλατάνι

Όταν το 2017 αποφασίζαμε να τρέξουμε την Κυκάω μια ιδέα που προέκυψε έπειτα απο αρκετά χρόνια οικοζυθοποίησης καθόλου δεν φανταζόμασταν την διαδρομή. Μόνο υποθέταμε, με πολύ πίστη, ότι θα υπηρετήσουμε το χώρο της craft μπύρας με όλα μας τα μέσα. Τέλους Ιουνίου 2018 κυκλοφορήσαν οι πρώτες μας μπύρες και εκτότε έχει τρέξει πολύ νερό στο αυλάκι, με απαραίτητο καύσιμο την αλληλεπίδραση με όλους όσους συνθέτουν την craft σκηνή. Ζυθοποιούς καταναλωτές, βυνοποιούς, μεταφορείς και πολλούς ακόμη που χωρούν σε αυτή την αλυσίδα δημιουργικότητας.

Γιορτάζουμε έτσι τα 8α γενέθλιά μας με ένα μεγάλο party!

Η μπάντα φέρνει στη σκηνή όλη την ένταση, την εμπειρία και την ενέργεια που χτίστηκε στον δρόμο, παρουσιάζοντας νέο υλικό αλλά και αγαπημένα κομμάτια που έχουν καθιερώσει τον χαρακτηριστικό τους ψυχεδελικό ήχο.
Κατα τα λοιπά άφθονη μπύρα σε ψυγεία και taps, νέες κυκλοφορίες έκπληξη και φαγητό που η ομάδα της Κυκάω επιμελείται ανελλιπώς !

Every summer we used to struggle to keep our freshest IPAs in stock, but this year things changed. Our tiny worker-owned cooperative nanobrewery in the village of Platani - Patras expanded, and we nearly tripled our production! We're still very small, but now our core beers are always available and can be shipped anywhere in Greece within 2 days, straight to your door, bar, or bottle shop!

A new age of craft beer is here and we're not following trends!

We won't raise our prices, even though almost everyone else does, often hiding behind real or made-up excuses. We refuse to use war as a cover for profiteering. We're not a profit-driven microbrewery. We respect our product and our customers, and as we grow, our goal stays the same: top-quality beer that’s truly accessible for everyone! That's the mission. We might be in over our heads, but we'll keep on swimming!

Have you ever imagined a smooth as hell Black DIPA, dry hooped with huge amounts of hops? Cold steeping the roasted grains for 12 hours remove any harshness bitterness but keeps all the smooth roastiness intact. Dry hopping with 30g/l of Amarillo provide a second layer of fruity juiciness!

Pours black with dark orange hues. Aroma is hop forward from the heavy use of Amarillo (orange marmalade) with a hint of toffee and some roasted notes. Taste balanced, smooth, again hop forward with some butterscotch notes. Aftertaste is long, smooth and fruity, heavily aromatic. Carbonation is low, texture oily.
