So what's the temperature where you're at right now...? 'Cause down here in Athens, there's just this miraculous thing we all like to call Neverending Summer!

September has already run its course, and here we are with daily thermometers still hitting 25-30 as a course of fact. One can just never get tired of it! Especially with Sundays off for a swim in the Mediterranean or a lay-out on the beach.

And then the nights.... With Athens charged up full with all the students back to Uni, and all the 30-somethings back to work, the vibe on the street is at its max right now. Late nights, wild nights, the locals are out there every weekend with an intention to party :) Which means we just gotta take you along! The city is sweet these days, and it's t-shirt weather even after sundown. What more could ya need?!

Well the truth is its been a wild month here on every front. Anyone who's been watching international news knows how much Greece has been in the headlines, but for all the folks we know here on the street they're just trying to keep it business as usual. Finances have gotten tight for the locals (but have no fear: not for foreigners in any way), so the great groups of travelers we've been able to bring by some amazing spots have been a big bonus for local owners. Nothing quite as satifsying as introducing people to the heart and magic of this beautiful city, far away from the splash of over-hyped articles. The Athens we know is still keeping its chin up and enjoying what is possible this summer... and with so many nightlife spots to keep this city full of atmosphere, we're delighted to be showing you a side of the city that the international press just has no clue about.

Athenians may be tight on cash these days, but they're abundant in spirit. We've had a chance to join in on all-night beach parties, dancin to great tunes amidst a perfect nightime seaside vibe... We stumbled into a brand new favorite that takes over an entire sidestreet in the winding maze of Athens... There've been music festivals, silks shows, live urban bands and Hawaiian hula parties... And yep, we even came across a giant human fussball table! Proof again to us here at the Ghost Crawl that Athens is a city always ready to surprise ya! As long as you're daring enough to get a little under the skin and explore away from the mainstream :)
