Advanced Course in Clinical Embryology
The program focuses on Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Biology and provides a Diploma of Specialized Training upon completion.
This week at the Advanced Course in Clinical Embryology, we begin Module 10: Research Methodology and Evidence-Based Medicine. As our field continues to evolve, understanding how research is conducted, interpreted, and translated into clinical practice is essential for every clinical embryologist and reproductive scientist.
We are delighted to welcome Professor George Mastorakos, Professor of Endocrinology at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. In his lecture, "The Evolution of Research in Female Reproduction: Milestones and Future Goals," Professor Mastorakos will reflect on the landmark discoveries that have shaped female reproductive research while examining the scientific challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
We are also pleased to welcome Dionysios Palermos, PhD candidate, Department of Public Health and Epidemiology, UNIWA who will deliver the lecture, "Types of Studies in Research". This session will provide participants with a practical understanding of the different research study designs that form the foundation of scientific evidence.
