Dressed in vibrant colors and waving ribbons, sprinkled with gold dust and full of delicacies, it started its journey into the world. From Mexico to Spain and from Latin America to Europe, the Piniata is a religious symbol of many nations who have identified with the struggle of man against temptations. The impressive “pot” symbolized the "evil" while the seasonal fruits and candies that were hidd
en inside it, symbolized human temptations. The person who managed to break it with a stick while blindfolded, was symbolizing faith. When the Piniata broke, the “goodies" that were scattered were the prize for his faith. Over the years, the Piniata lost its religious character and became popular in many celebrations, continuing to impress young and old. So keeping in mind all those parties where we managed to hit and break open a Piniata amongst laughter and the sounds of party horns, bearing in mind the magical moment when dozens of candies and toys rained down on our heads, we decided to "play again" and relive all the feelings! In the olden days, the piniata was made of clay or compressed paper. Now, it has transformed into a female bag and this is certainly a big temptation. Women's accessories are our own "adult goodies" that fill the bag and hence our day, with surprises and excitement. The main rule of our Piniatas, is the purchase of a “container-bag” that you fill up with what drool over, keeping in mind that everything in our Piniata, becomes cheaper!!! No one loses and everyone wins in prices, products and surprises that are hidden within!!!
