Results day today !

Foundation College is not a selective school in that we do not select our students (though I am sure they select us) to improve our statistics.

Yet in the January 2023 A-level exams we had a remarkable set of results and an outstanding statistic of perfect scores. Out of a total of 69 exam takes we had 32 “A” including 11 perfect scores (100/100, 120/120 or 80/80 depending on the subject).

Not bad for students most of who started their A-levels only a few months ago.

Getting a UK student visa should in most cases take about an hour on a smartphone. You need to have a CAS number (this is provided by the institution that accepts you), your passport and about 800 pounds in a debit or credit card to pay for the Visa and the health insurance. There's a lot of information being asked including dates of past international travel but nothing to justify the weeks or months that it is rumoured to take. You don't wait for your application to get approved. This is done immediately as you complete the process and your visa is issued instantaneously.

If it takes you two hours this because you are slow tapping the keys or you are trying to remember when it was that you travelled to the UK in, say, 2015....

Taking the IELTS, which you were going to take anyway, and gaining 10,000 (if you are lucky) is not bad ! Make a note of the dates and expedite your registration.
