We had the pleasure to participate on 02.12.2025 in the event hosted by the IHK Nürnberg für Mittelfranken, “Marktchancen Griechenland – vom Sorgenkind zum Musterschüler,” an insightful discussion on Greece’s economic outlook and the growing opportunities for German companies looking to invest or expand in the country.

Our partners Nassos Michelis and Dirk Reinhardt presented on “Settlement and Funding Opportunities in Greece,” sharing practical guidance on investment structures, funding instruments, and the legal framework shaping cross-border activities.

The summit brought together highly qualified and experienced speakers who presented well-documented and realistic insights into the growth prospects of hydrogen as the “fuel of the future”. The discussions covered both the technical and economic dimensions of the sector, as well as the challenges involved in shaping a mature and stable hydrogen framework.

MStR Law, represented by Partner – Lawyer Mr. Nassos Michelis, provided an in-depth analysis of the new Law 5215/2025 and its role in shaping the Greek regulatory landscape. The presentation also highlighted how the firm supports RES companies and entities investing in hydrogen technologies, offering comprehensive legal services that cover licensing procedures, contract drafting and negotiation, and complex regulatory and compliance matters.
The exchange of views with Mr. Georgios Ageridis, Energy & Environment Management Consultant, and Mr. Georgios Exarchou of Hydrogène de France proved particularly valuable. Additionally, the contribution of Ms. Michaela Balis from Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) shed light on Europe’s position — and especially Germany’s perspective — in the emerging hydrogen economy.
