Half Japan is a project created by Neoskepsis and Truffaut, an anticipated
collaboration for the Greek underground scene.
In their first release for Modify records, the duo show their love for both analogue
and digital equipment , passion for sound design , hypnotic ambient and
emotional repetitive loops.
Eleven tunes that encompass a wild cross-reference between genres from
downtempo to dreamlike electronica and techno. Available in limited CD digipak.

DEFY has been a fixture in the ambient/experimental scene for over 8 years. His Innovative style led him to be a pioneer independent artist in Paris, where he was part of Modify crew before launching their independent artist's association and label, Modify Records.
Classically trained in bass guitar, DEFY brings his appreciation and deep understanding of music in a newfangled way where he takes listeners on a mesmerizing journey through an avant-gardist freestyle.
2016 saw DEFY release "Faith" his Chicago House inspired first release, then "Afterhours" EP in 2017 which is an essential chill out choice, complementing a breakthrough collaboration with Neoskepsis on their joint album "Half Japan" in 2019, cementing DEFY's place as one of the Freestyle electronic genre rising stars.
