How many times can one dog fall in love with complete strangers?

Sam seems determined to find out.
Every person who visits gets exactly the same welcome.

That huge smile. That wagging tail. Those amber eyes fixed on yours as if he's already made up his mind.

"It's you."

He leans into people he met thirty seconds ago. He follows them around. He looks at them as though he's been waiting for them his whole life.

And then... They leave.

Sam watches them go, gives himself a little shake, and the next time someone arrives, he does it all over again. Because that's who he is.

Three and a half years ago, Sam was one of six puppies rescued alongside their exhausted mum. They were all fighting for survival.

That tiny puppy with the oversized paws has grown into a magnificent young dog, around 22kg, full of life and absolutely devoted to people.

He's playful, affectionate, brilliant with other dogs and would love an active home where he can be part of everything. Walks, weekends away, trips to the beach... if you're going, Sam wants to come too.

The only thing missing is someone who doesn't have to leave.

One day, somebody will meet Sam for the first time.
