5-Element Acupuncture and Moxibustion Training Program 2024/2025. Athens, Greece.

One of the most exciting training courses in Greece in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

A one year training that focuses on developing and practicing the skills required to become an accomplished practitioner of Classical 5-Element Acupuncture.
This medical system effectively diagnoses and addresses the primary cause of disease in each individual and has the ability to treat symptoms arising anywhere within the body, mind and spirit of the patient. The system is entirely based on the laws of Nature.

Eligibility for attendees. If you are a practitioner or student of Traditional Chinese medicine and have a basic foundation in TCM studies, you are welcome to attend the training.

Course Duration - 12 months.
Includes
Home Studies – 2.5 hours a week.
In-person attendance – Minimum 10 hours a month.
Practice and Theory.
Supervised Clinic with live patients.

Costs.
12.50 Euros per hour.
Two days per month – 10 hours (minimum requirement) 125 Euros.
Maximum cost of the full course is 1500 Euros.
A deposit before starting the course is required. 50 Euros. This deposit will be returned on completion of the training.

About Mark Gessler, Lic. Ac.
Mark Gessler is a Classical Five-Element Acupuncture practitioner who graduated from The College of Traditional Acupuncture, UK in 1991. His teacher was the esteemed Professor J.R. Worsley who, during his lifetime, was universally acknowledged as the living Master of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture in the western world. Mark’s 30 years’ of experience encompasses work in a variety of health clinics, such as drug/alcohol dependency units, Fertility clinics, and the treatment of HIV and AIDS at the Royal Free hospital in London. Throughout his years as a practitioner he has consistently maintained an active private practice. Other than working in the UK, he has also worked extensively in India and Greece, where he currently practices and teaches Classical Five-Element Acupuncture. Mark’s passions include the arts, nature, communication and appreciating the gift of life.

We are honored to host Mark Gessler at Akadimia, with a groundbreaking seminar on Classical 5 Element Acupuncture and Moxibustion, starting on the weekend 2-3 of December 2023. Mark Gessler studied under Pr. JR Worsley, a master in this field and has experience in practice for over 25 years. This seminar will be held in English, online for the theoretical part and live for the practical part.
