SUPPORT BREATH OF LIGHT
Dear friends,
On 28 & 29 July, at the Temple of Apollo in Ancient Corinth, we will give what these ancient stones remember to a body again, through breath, movement, music and voice.
Both nights are already fully reserved. 600 people will stand with us on this sacred ground.
Admission is free. But creating this experience is not.
The Greek Ministry of Culture supports the fees of our artists. We still need to raise €18,300 for the sound, lighting, music recording, transportation and filming that will bring BREATH OF LIGHT fully into being.
€50 — one hour of music recording
€150 — one artist’s journey to Corinth
€250 — the lighting of a scene at dusk
€500 — sound that carries a whisper across the ancient ground
€1,000 — the film that allows this work to travel beyond the 800 people who will witness it

Breath of Light is presented within the Hellenic Ministry of Culture’s “All of Greece, One Culture 2026” programme, organized and produced by the Greek National Opera. The performance is realized in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corinth and with the support of the Region of Peloponnese and the Municipality of Corinth.

Some dancers seem to move between worlds.
We are honored to welcome Sapphire Sumpter Dance to Breath of Light. Her artistic practice brings together contemporary dance, folk traditions, site-specific performance, ritual, improvisation, and storytelling.
As a performer, choreographer, and founder of Numinous Dance Theatre, her work explores the relationship between movement, landscape, heritage, and transformation.
Her artistry resonates deeply with the spirit of Anamnesis, where performance becomes a living act of remembrance.
