Dimitris Napas is a guitarist/vocalist from Athens, Greece born in May 1990. At an early age he got into various genres of music, from blues to rock to metal to symphonic music, as his father was a DJ and the musical exposure and influence was inevitable. He began studies on European and Byzantine music and taking vocal lessons when he was 13 year old. At 15, Dimitris' father bought him his first
guitar, a Fender Stratocaster Corona California, which he still uses to this day. He studied mostly the guitar methods of John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Steve Morse, Paul Gilbert among others, while also attending the Public and National Conservatory until he decided to focus on creating his own songs and band. At 17 was when Sirius came to life and their journey continues to this day. Through all these years Sirius have had many successful performances so far and many more yet to come. They shared the stage with great musicians and bands such as Diviner, Amken, Exoristoi, Olethrio Rigma, Parthian Shot etc. and most notably the unplugged gig with Luke Appleton of Iced Earth and Absolva! In 2017 they released their first EP album, titled "Wings Of Fire" and almost two years later they recorded an acoustic version of the song "The Last Angel" accompanied by their first ever videoclip which shows the band performing it in the studio. After years of leading Sirius both on vocals and guitar, he decided that it was the right time to expand his musical endeavours. At the age of 27 he became a member of the heavy/thrash metal band Devil Rolling Dice as a lead guitarist. They recorded their first full length album "The Catastrophic Sequence" which is praised both by audience and critics as one of the best thrash metal albums of 2019! They released a cinematic videoclip for the song "Prison Dead". Apart from his musical journey with Sirius and Devil Rolling Dice, Dimitris also joined other projects throughout the years. He is a member of Repentless, the Greek Tribute Band to Slayer! He also plays in the Tithora House Band, a cover band that performs occasionally on the stage of Tithora Rock Club. In 2018 he joined the epic/heavy metal band Paladine as a session guitarist for a show, where they performed as the opening act for the latest performance of Q5 in Athens, Greece. One of the highlights in his performing career was being a guest among incredible musicians in Rock n Roll Children, a Ronnie James Dio tribute band, for their annual charity concert where all proceeds go to a great cause. In January 2020 he started a YouTube series called "Pedal To The Metal" where he introduces and reviews different guitar equipment in each episode! Dimitris guitar playing style is influenced mostly by John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert and vocally, according to critics and fans, he reminds of Tobias Sammet, Kai Hansen and JB Christofferson. His guitar equipment changes and adapts depending on the different project. For guitar he uses
