Transfolab ATH

At TransfoLAB ATH we are proposing a different kind of summer, one filled with creativity, experimentation, and hands-on making. Together, we’ll explore creative techniques across a wide range of materials and practices, with a focus on circularity, design thinking, and sustainable fabrication.

Each week, children will dive into different themes and techniques including making, jewellery, carpentry, textiles, crafts, and biomaterials. Through hands-on activities, they will learn how to discover or create new materials, design through creative reuse, and transform everyday waste into new objects and designs.

Every week will conclude with a group exhibition of the children’s creations, followed by a small celebration.

The main language of the program will be English, with support in Greek.

Στο TransfoLAB ATH
προτείνουμε ένα διαφορετικό καλοκαίρι, γεμάτο δημιουργία, πειραματισμό και κατασκευές. Μαζί θα εξερευνήσουμε δημιουργικές τεχνικές μέσα από διαφορετικά υλικά και πρακτικές, με βασικό άξονα την κυκλικότητα, το design thinking και τη βιώσιμη κατασκευή.

Κάθε εβδομάδα τα παιδιά θα γνωρίζουν νέες θεματικές και τεχνικές, όπως making, κόσμημα, ξυλουργική, υφαντικές και textile πρακτικές, χειροτεχνία και βιοϋλικά. Μέσα από βιωματικές δραστηριότητες θα μάθουν πώς να ανακαλύπτουν ή να δημιουργούν νέα υλικά, πώς να σχεδιάζουν μέσα από τη δημιουργική επανάχρηση και πώς να μεταμορφώνουν καθημερινά υλικά και αντικείμενα σε νέα προϊόντα και σχέδια.

Κάθε εβδομάδα θα ολοκληρώνεται με μια ομαδική έκθεση των δημιουργιών των παιδιών και μια μικρή γιορτή.

Η βασική γλώσσα του προγράμματος θα είναι τα Αγγλικά, με υποστήριξη στα Ελληνικά.
