One Thirty Three

2024 was the first in a long time where I truly read for pleasure — not in preparing for grad school, not for my college assignments, not to fulfill my pandemic goal of reading every book on the shelves. Aside from the articles and policy papers I consumed for work, this year was spent in pursuit of the ineluctable desire to be “well-read.” The books that weren’t to my taste taught me how *not* to tell a story, and the ones that were sharpened my perception of literature. I hope to continue searching out stories new and old in this New Year 💖
