There was something different about last night’s event, the buzz and excitement. We now have five amazing judges confirmed, a £5,000 cash prize for the winner AND announced yesterday thanks to the support of an additional judge, a £1,000 prize for the runner up. As usual the venue was perfect, big thanks to staff and team at Sunborn Gibraltar. Mentors and startups were already gravitating towards each other and this is exactly what we hoped for. They will meet a mentor, gain insights and make connections that they may never have had the chance to make otherwise. It's a big project to push forward alone but so worth it, this is only the beginning! Specifix has joined the UK’s Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CISP) https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/cisp/home

Launched in 2013, CISP is a community which comes together to prepare, react and recover from cyber-attacks. The secure platform provides real time information on possible threats, sharing information between private and public professionals.

This is a significant resource for the cyber security team at Specifix, by obtaining these valuable insights it strengthens the protection and defences we provide to our clients. It is crucial to be equipped with the right strategies, and obtaining this real-time information means we have the latest intelligence. Our “Security Operations Centre” (SOC) aims to protect our clients to avoid any threats before it is too late, but even in the worst-case scenario, we are equipped with information on the most effective response.

By joining this partnership, we are enhancing the safeguarding of our network, our client’s network, and contributing to the wider UK environment.
