As Nautilus Blue Week comes to a close, we take a moment to look back on the first internship of the summer ๐ŸŒŠ

Luca and Sidney, both marine biology undergrads have joined Alex, our youth leader, for a science placement with the charity ๐Ÿฅผ๐Ÿงช

During their stay, they've qualified as PADI divers, tried out freediving with local expert Dean Chipolina and bioblitzed during snorkeling at Historic Rosia Bay ๐Ÿคฟ
The students logged marine animals sightings onboard the HM Customs vessel - a trip highlight! ๐Ÿšค
Together with Prior Park School the interns removed 90kg of refuse from the GSLA revetment ๐Ÿชฃโ™ป๏ธ
Seagrass research, marine monitoring on Jetskis and interviews on GBC radio have also featured in their itineraries.
They visited Montessorri nursery to help deliver a workshop and formed part of our World Ocean Day celebrations ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿƒ

They joined the Gibraltar football fan base at Europa Point and cheered on Gibraltar Football Association players v Cayman Islands โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ฎ

A real insight into a whirlwind Nautilus fortnight! ๐Ÿ’ช
