With Calentita running across two days this year, our Environmental Health Officers are working throughout the weekend to help keep food safe and standards high:
✅ Months of planning with organisers and caterers to reduce food safety risks
🗓️ Ongoing checks on food temperatures, hygiene practices and safe preparation
🏠 Registration and inspection of all participating food businesses
📚 Providing guidance on hygiene rules and labelling
🚰 Confirming handwashing stations and safe water access
🕵️♀️ On‑site support and spot checks across both days
📋 Follow‑up work after the event to strengthen future festivals
