Over the past term, our Childline Community Team has been at Bayside School every Wednesday, delivering workshops to Year 9 students focused on consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships.

The sessions encouraged students to identify red flags and green flags, understand the importance of setting and respecting personal boundaries, and recognise that consent is relevant in everyday life, not only in dating. Whether it's borrowing a phone to change a song or deciding to look through messages weeks later because you know the password, consent must be ongoing, informed, and respected.

We're incredibly proud of the thoughtful discussions, questions, and participation from the students, who showed a real willingness to learn about respect, communication, and making positive choices in all of their relationships.💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the beautiful Sunborn Yacht Hotel to celebrate Childline’s 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner.

It was a truly memorable evening reflecting on two decades of being there for children and young people, celebrating the dedication of our or our past and present team alongside supporters, partners and friends who have helped make our journey possible.

Here’s to 20 years of making a difference, and to a future where every child knows they are never alone.
