As we reflect on 69 years of nationhood, we are reminded that true independence is sustained when:
*Women and girls are empowered.
*Youth are productively engaged.
*Communities actively participate in decision-making.
*Peace prevails over division.
At ProNet North, we remain committed to empowering communities, promoting social cohesion, advancing gender equality, and creating opportunities for our youth.
We believe that true independence means leaving no one behind.

From Farms to Pots
This is not new because we have been consistent with this approach from the outset. Our goal is an impact that endures beyond the life of the project.
Throughout the project, annual trainings are organized to strengthen women’s capacity in food utilization and nutrition.
Women are trained through practical processes on how to transform the crops they cultivate under the project, such as groundnuts and soya beans, into nutritious meals like soybean kebabs, tuo zaafi, Tom Brown, and koose.
Through these value-addition activities, some women are now earning daily incomes from the sale of these processed foods.
The initiative aims to promote nutrition-conscious eating by encouraging women to incorporate groundnuts and soybeans into their daily diets. While farming and selling raw produce remain important, eating healthy from what is grown is equally essential. As the saying goes, we grow what we eat, and we eat what we grow.
Together with our partners and , we are not only promoting sustainable farming practices and energy-saving methods but also creating income-generating opportunities that empower women.
