The UHAS Alumni Association proudly congratulates Dr. Dennis Miezah on completing his Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Boston through the BSN-to-PhD track.

Dr. Miezah is a proud UHAS alumnus, having earned his Bachelor of Nursing here from 2015–2019. At his Ph.D. graduation, he received multiple honors from the Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences:
1. Ph.D. Nursing Book Award 2026 – Highest GPA of 4.0 among graduating Ph.D. nursing students
2. Outstanding Peer Mentor Award 2026
3. Ph.D. Nursing Outstanding Leadership Award 2026

His doctoral research focused on hypertension-related cardiovascular knowledge, cardiovascular risk perception, and Life’s Essential 8 behaviors among emerging adults.

We celebrate Dr. Miezah’s excellence and the global impact he continues to make for Ghana and beyond.
