🚨 "He's Not Picking My Calls": Aku Sika Begs Dragon To Pick Up Her Calls After Real-Life Marriage

Actress and media personality, Regina Van-Helvert, famous for playing Aku Sika in comedy skits, has taken to social media to beg her onscreen partner, Jeffrey Nortey, known as Dragon, to answer her calls after her real-life marriage reportedly sent him into a playful spiral.

This comes as fans have been teasing Jeffrey about being heartbroken over Aku's real-life nuptials, and he has been leaning into the joke by going silent on her.

In a humorous Facebook post, Regina shared a throwback photo of the two in character.

She wrote, "He's not picking up my calls. I don't think I'm invited on 12th June … aw Dragon . Y'all help me beg him."

She is hoping to secure an invitation to Jeffrey Nortey's "Three Faces of Jeffrey Nortey" show at the National Theatre on June 12, 2026.

🚨 "One Has To Be Fake To Recognise A Fake Person": Shatta Wale Reacts To Stonebwoy Calling Him And Sarkodie Fake

Shatta Wale has weighed in on the cryptic post controversy surrounding Stonebwoy, as he dismissed the drama entirely, insisting he took zero offence.

In an interview with a UK-based Nigerian entertainer, Adesope Olajide, Shatta Wale said people who are genuinely real never see themselves in such messages.

He said, "One has to be fake before they recognise another fake person. I didn't see anything wrong with it, and I didn't take it personal, I'm not fake. I show real love to anyone I like."

He also used the moment to call for unity among Ghana's top artistes, specifically naming himself, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Samini, arguing that continued rivalry narratives are damaging the industry's global image.

🚨 "This Is An African Problem That Requires African Solutions": South African President Calls On Mahama To Help Solve Xenophobia

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has credited President John Dramani Mahama's diplomatic initiative as a key factor behind South Africa's decision to send envoys across the African continent to address the escalating xenophobia crisis.

Speaking to the media, Ramaphosa welcomed Mahama's pledge to engage fellow African heads of state and framed it as exactly the kind of continental solidarity South Africa needs.

"I'm rather pleased that President Mahama of Ghana has been saying he would like to make a call on other African countries to work with South Africa, and that is precisely what has triggered our intention to send envoys," Ramaphosa said.

He acknowledged that unemployment, insecurity, and poor service delivery have fuelled tensions, but was clear, "This is an African problem that requires African solutions."
