On June 29, 2024, the Digital Technology Department of AngloGold Ashanti successfully completed a training program on Emotional Intelligence, facilitated by CIPD Consult Ltd. at the picturesque Breezes Beach Resort. The training was for a team of 12 leaders under the management of Mr. Biney.

The engaging and interactive session equipped participants with a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence, its importance in the workplace, and practical strategies to enhance their emotional intelligence skills.

Through insightful discussions, group activities, and expert guidance, the team learned how to effectively recognize and manage their emotions, empathize with colleagues, and cultivate a positive work environment.

The training was facilitated by Dr. Esther Attiogbe, who took them through very interactive session took time to ascertain the emotional intelligence level.

This training aims to enhance the department's overall performance, collaboration, and well-being, aligning with AngloGold Ashanti's commitment to employee development and excellence.
