Food is presented on specially commissioned handmade Japanese earthenware and glass crockery in over 25 different styles, as well as Ghanaian wooden bowls. A private dining room, separated from the restaurant by sand-blasted glass screens with intricate bamboo overlay, can be booked for up to 18 guests who can sample the chef’s bespoke menu on a handmade reclaimed wood table. An outside terrace offers seating to a further 50 guests who can experience Santoku’s modern interpretation of Japanese cuisine and drinks under Ghanaian skies. Since opening, the bar at Santoku is fast establishing itself as a destination in its own right; Accra’s place to ‘see and be scene’. Guests can enjoy ordering food from a small selection of sharing dishes from the light bar menu as well as the full sushi range, alongside the most creative and innovative cocktail list in Ghana. The cocktail menu features drinks made only from premium international spirits and fresh fruit, all made to order.
