OWATECH CHURCH SUITE : A Church Database Management Software

Exploring the technological approach to Church management, streamlining the process and acquaintance amongst church members, leaders, families and management becomes essential for today's fast growing church environment.
Most Churches in our part of the world is use to manually managing their Membership as well their resources. This become a problem when the number of Members scales up, since it’s a manual system, it has drawbacks such as time consumption, inefficient resource utilization, lost of valuable historical records and many other issues. These issues have been a torn in the flesh!

As a team of young and dynamic individuals who are hungry for positive results, we have developed a software solution which curbs the problem and switches your church into the technological world. This Software we call Owatech Church Suite.

The Suite, an open source system providing Web based interface but locally hosted, has been especially designed considering the challenges Churches come across. Some of these challenges are low cost of ownership, mediocre IT infrastructure, skill set level requirements, resource optimization, leaders-members community interaction, security, and stability. Emphasis has been given on easy-to-use interfaces. The menu-driven screens have detailed explanations and offer several options. The users need not be programmers or sofware experts to benefit from this Suite.

Core Functions

Membership Records
The information of each member are persisted into the Suite database and managed by the administrator. Personal, Tithes, Offering, Association, Transfers and Group Information are recorded for future reference.

Church Accounting System
The Suite easily and accurately manages the Church’s Financial Documents and generate reports at any point in time.

Automated Birthday / Announcements / Activities Alerts
Birthday and Anniversary messages will be sent automatically to individual members. These messages will be sent in the name tag, specified by the user, as well as individual names to uniquely identify the member.

Digital Payment of Tithes/ Offerings
The Church Members can in their comfort zones make payments through the online payment section using their mobile money accounts, Visa/Debit or Master Card.

Clock-in Attendance
The Suite provides a Clock-In Device which allows members to clock-in at every Church service. A graph/ report is generated for attendance at any point in time. The Suite has an extensive search and reporting capabilities

Scalability
Scalability is highly important for any systems. Owatech Church Suite is capable of growing with the Church, both in terms of slow managed growth and sudden change. The suite has been designed from the beginning to scale from a single server machine running all components up to a system involving clustered components and distributed access from a worldwide basis.

Security
The Suite is highly secured as defined security lines are implemented right from the beginning of the Suite. The Suite has the concept of user permissions.
