Only Ghanaians and Ghanaian owned cooperatives or associations must be allowed to work in the mines and local residents in the mining communities must be given priority. Legal provisions for mining concessions must be reviewed regularly so that appropriate legislations can be directed on regular bases to improve the performances of these mines and grow them to desirable standards in the shortest time possible.
