Marriage is not only a social or religious union. It also carries legal consequences that affect property, financial rights, and children.

Many people only begin to ask legal questions when disputes arise. Understanding the law before challenges arise can provide clarity and informed decision-making.

Minkah-Premo, Osei-Bonsu, Bruce-Cathline & Partners (MPOBB) invites members of the public, professionals, business owners, young couples, married couples, and students to an educational webinar examining:

▪️Property rights within marriage
▪️Customary and statutory marriage distinctions
▪️Distribution of property upon dissolution
▪️The legal position on bigamy
▪️Custody considerations under Ghanaian law

📅 Wed. 11th March 2026

The 1992 Constitution of Ghana came into force 33 years ago. The Constitution re-establishes democratic governance, enshrining fundamental human rights and freedoms, decentralizes power to local governments, and ensures separation of powers. Happy Constitution Day!
