Managing Expectations While Keeping Hope Alive

Fellow applicants,

Looking at today's developments regarding the release of appointment letters, it appears there may not be any update for now. While many of us were hopeful, I believe this is also a good time to manage our expectations and prepare ourselves for every possible outcome.

Here are a few reasons why:

1. Reality does not always match our expectations.
Life has taught us that things do not always happen according to our personal timelines. As the Bible reminds us, "There is nothing new under the sun." Delays and unexpected changes are part of many processes, and this recruitment is no exception.

2. The recruitment will be conducted in batches.
From the information shared yesterday, it is now evident that successful applicants will be called in batches. This means not everyone will receive an appointment letter at the same time.

3. Not everyone will be in the first batch.
Although every applicant hopes to be among the first to begin training, we must accept that some will have to wait for subsequent batches. Having realistic expectations will help us avoid unnecessary disappointment if we are not selected in the first phase.

4. Communication may present challenges.
Based on recent events, there is concern that there may not always be formal communication explaining the process to those who are not included in the first batch. Many applicants may be left wondering when their turn will come or how long they will have to wait. This uncertainty can be frustrating, but it is something we should mentally prepare for.

The truth is that this recruitment process has been difficult to predict. One day expectations are high, and the next day circumstances change. It has been a journey filled with uncertainty, and no one can confidently predict what the next update will be.

You may even be surprised if this entire week passes without any official communication. While that may be discouraging, it is important not to lose hope or become overwhelmed.

Above all, I encourage everyone to remain calm, continue preparing, and most importantly, keep praying. Our hope should not be built on rumours or expectations but on faith, patience, and trust that everything will happen at the right time.

May God grant every deserving applicant a successful outcome.

Stay hopeful. Stay prepared. Keep praying. 🙏
