The sailing community is a special group of people. You make fast friends in an anchorage and somehow this salty life transcends barriers & gravitates one cruiser to another in ways that may never happen on shore. I love this about the sailing lifestyle. Meet Cindy & Adam of SV Bravo. They arrived in Grenada after sailing across the Atlantic in their semi custom Boreal 52. We immediately bonded at the local beach bar talking all things sailing, the South Pacific, diving & troopys life in Australia. They are salt of the earth with so many interesting stories to share. We said ‘fairwinds’ to them yesterday as they set sail for St Lucia, continuing their journey up towards the east coast of Canada & they graciously indulged me in some photos & a little interview about what puts the wind in their sails

Beef will say the wave wasn’t perfect. A die hard surfer always seems to chase that unicorn. But I was awe struck. We sailed all through the night to arrive at this secret spot just in time to secure a safe anchorage for the biggest swell of the winter. I was mesmerized by these empty, aqua waves peeling along the shore line, heaving onto dry sand. We spent 2 days on this remote & beautiful sandy beach with hardly a soul in sight. Before the pandemic, before corona virus, before the world shut down, in a time when we were free to roam & travel to find jewels like these. 17 weeks & this belly is growing fast! We still have no idea where we will find ourselves when our little sea sq**rt decides to arrive, but we are taking each day as it comes & thanks to ‘s solid work ethic, The Don is looking more incredible by the day.
