REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
-- CONSULTANCY TO UNDERTAKE A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR TRANSITIONING
TO REGISTER-BASED POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS

The Government of Grenada, jointly with Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the OECS Commission, is implementing the OECS Data for Decision-Making (DDM) Project with support from the World Bank’s International Development Association (IDA). The Grenada component of the Project, which became effective in August 2022, is led by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and supports statistical modernization.
The Grenada component has supported the production of key demographic,
social, and economic statistics, including the 2022 Population and Housing Census (PHC), the Census of Agriculture (CoA), the ongoing Survey of Living Conditions and Household Budget Survey (SLC-HBS), and the ongoing Labour Force Survey (LFS). These activities underscore the importance of improving the efficiency,
sustainability, and timeliness of statistical production in Grenada, particularly as the Project is expected to close in June 2027.
