The Summer Reading Challenge launched on Saturday so don't forget to pop in & sign up! If you haven't taken part in the challenge before, it is free to sign up & participate, the challenge is to read any 6 books over the summer holidays, for each one you receive a sticker to put in your reading folder & a character card, if you read all 6 books by the 12th of September you will receive a certificate & medal!

A BIG thankyou to our friends from Goldsborough Manor Care Home, who raised monies raffling off a beautiful blanket made by their crafters to support the Library & our ever expanding volunteer run coffee mornings at the Library. We now have some lovely seating for outside to enjoy the sunshine ☀️☕️

Next Friday 17 April all Explore libraries, cafes and archives sites will be closed all day. We are sorry if you were planning to visit us and are disappointed. We hope you will understand how important it is for all our dedicated staff to have this time together once a year to reflect, learn, and plan for the future.
