York Rescue Boat is a young charity operating an independent lifeboat and flood rescue team in our historic city and further afield. Our highly trained volunteers patrol York at high risk times, through till the early hours, on foot and by boat helping to make the city safer. We also have a nationally declared flood rescue team which can be called upon 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in times of

Today we are on the side of the Ouse with our stall, come and say hi if you are popping by and see the dragon boats racing down the river!
Come down and see if Onebright (who are rowing for us today with the help of some of our crew) can make it to the final after winning their last race.

Whilst providing safety cover for the Museum Gardens OMD concert this evening our crew was pleased to welcome a party of monks all the way from Thailand. We hope they enjoy their stay in our lovely city.
