The Vitula String Quartet perform a wide variety of genres depending on the occasion, ranging from classical to pop and rock music. The quartet are based in York but are also available for bookings further afield. Playing and arranging music to suit your occasion, the Vitula String Quartet aim to cater for your needs and strive to help in making your special occasion a memorable one.
We recently had the privilege of providing music for the Mayor of Horwich at a Charity Dinner. A fantastic event raising money for some wonderful causes! Thank you for having us!
Congratulations to Lizhi & Calum on their stunning wedding last Saturday at the magnificent Allerton Castle — one of Yorkshire’s most spectacular venues.
We performed as a String Trio for the Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast, adding elegant live music to every part of their day.

We’re excited to be performing at Austen Birthday Bash, organised by Dance the Past, next Saturday to celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday!
Join us for a full day of Regency-era fun, including:
*A gorgeous Afternoon Tea Party (sandwiches, scones, cakes & tea) — where we’ll be playing live music.
*A dance workshop to get you ready for the night’s ball — whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced dancer, you’ll be welcome and then in the evening: we’ll perform again at the Birthday Ball, with live music and dancing in Regency fashion — costumes encouraged!
