Fruitique another sad day today for the fruitique staff .the shop is now empty just a general spring clean left iv got to say it looks massive inside now everything is gone .many memories in the cupboard but things move on and it's Debbies flowers york that counts now ..don't forget the fresh fruit and veg is available in bishy weigh from Tuesday 7th April thank.you again everybody.

So the transition is taking place fresh produce from Fruitique is being absorbed into bishy weigh as we speak, jo and his team are working hard to fit everything in.jo's
Aim is to stock all.the everyday items plus extras with obvious main aim to reduce plastic use to a minimum ,quality is also high on the agenda with local suppliers in tow,a long standing member of the fruitique team will be on site Tuesday to help with the initial stocking and display

FRUITIQUE Bishyroad .Following on from the announcement from debbies flowers i would like to confirm that i Kevin the owner of Fruitique and Debbies flowers york will soon be retiring,this is not a decision which has been taken lightly, many sleepless nights over the last three months, but the time is right after working for 53 years in retail I think i have served my apprenticeship, I will be initially helping debbies flowers set up her new business in Bishopthorpe and continuing with my wholesale business, also I will be increasing my commitment to my international motorcycle race Team york suzuki..On the other hand I am pleased to announce that the fruitique part of the business will be absorbed into The Bishy Weigh where the owner jo and his staff are realy excited to keep the flag flying,this move of diversity fits in well with the ethics of the bishy weigh.Jo will be stocking the vast majority of products from the same suppliers including mercers jam and chutneys thurstones pickle range along with all your everyday fresh produce needs a very high percentage PLASTIC FREE ,I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers past and present ,to hope you may well visit JO in the future at bishy weigh,I would also.like to thank debbie for all the hard work she has done and also to the loyal staff over the years....we will be still about as normal for 3 more weeks until Easter sat 4th April, then from after the bank holiday on the Tuesday 7th April jo at bishy weigh will I am sure be very busy and be happy to.welcome you (by the way the loyalty card from bishy weigh will be valid on all purchases)...
