Retirement from my floristry career!

After 38 years creating florals for exclusive clients and events including Chelsea flower show, 18 years running my own business in Market Weighton I have decided it’s my time to move onto a very different mission working within the community in Market Weighton! (Watch this space)

This is my decision and not influenced by current climates, after all when I opened in 2008 when the banks crashed…I’m used to working hard!

I will be concentrating on my other business Big W***y Distillery and devoting my time to this so rest assured that Big W***y Distillery will be operating as normal with our online sales and events!

I am overjoyed that Ellie Lane has agreed to take over the Helium balloons and will be ready to be Market Weighton’s stockist from Monday 23rd March.

Flower Merchant will be having the most spectacular sale on all of their alcohol (excluding Big W***y Distillery) many prices half price, so come and grab a bargain and stock up your garden bar ready for the Summer.

All of our stock must go!

I would like to take this opportunity to say the biggest THANK YOU, to each and everyone of you who have supported me over the past 18 years .. I could certainly write a book on life’s trials and tribulations of a florist and stories myself and my customers have shared over the years.. countless cuppers and chocolate biscuits have been consumed for comfort and not forgetting the doggy snacks too!
