April seemed to be the month of déjà vu! 😄

I turned up to several customers and immediately recognised the trucks sitting in the yard. The reason? I’d worked on many of them years ago during my time at the dealership.

Having spent 17 years as an HGV Technician before moving into tuning, it’s always nice to see familiar vehicles still out there earning their keep. Better yet, knowing their history gives both me and the customer confidence that they’re in good health before any tuning work is carried out.

That experience is what sets Vehicle Tuning Solutions apart. I didn’t start with a laptop and a YouTube tutorial, I started with nearly two decades on the tools, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles. The tuning came after the hands on experience, not before it.

This particular MAN was given the VTS treatment and a healthy increase in performance. As the customer is exporting the truck overseas, they opted for a full emissions-system removal for use in accordance with local regulations. The DPF was removed, and the software was modified accordingly so the truck can continue its working life without unnecessary downtime.

This lovely VW Transporter received the Vehicle Tuning Solutions treatment a few weeks ago and left with an extra 35hp and 90nm of torque… which is probably more motivation than most people have on a Monday morning.

Safe to say it’s now pulling a bit harder and smiling a bit wider.
