There's not many things on planet earth that'll stop a mighty Cub but the dreaded tinworm is right up there at the top of the list!
Here at Cub Rescue I believe that prevention is always better than cure and that's why I offer my Rust-Busting preservation service.
This is a multiple step process which initially removes loose dirt and corrosion and then converts and neutralises any remaining corrosion into a paintable surface, seams are then sealed and two coats of glass fibre reinforced chassis paint with built in corrosion inhibitor are applied over the course of two days, the paint is then left a few days to cure after it's second coat and a top layer of waxoyl is then applied to it's surface along with the rest of the metalwork being given a light coating of ACF50 to give your bike that extra protection it needs to help it last forevermore.
An absolute must for those of you who keep your bikes outside or ride them all year round and expose them to the winter salt, I use some of the best materials on the market for this treatment and it's been tried and tested to work effectively over several winters of hard Cubbing!

How do you know your barn find was from a genuine barn?
Well here's one way to tell for sure, as you can see the damage caused to the wiring loom in the battery cavity by mice to this poor old C100 Import was catastrophic but the upper section of the loom was still in good condition so instead of discarding and replacing the original loom (complete with in tact dating tag) I decided to repair the destroyed section and at the same time replace the degraded old Selenium rectifier with a much more reliable solid state silicon type.
The repair was a success and the electrical system was brought back to life.
