Hello from Fossgate Books.
I regret to announce that I will be retiring (from the high street) and closing the shop at the end of this year (31st December 2022). This is a planned retirement after over 30 years as a bookseller here in York. I will continue to be active selling books in the future, mainly on-line. This will be a new venture for me and so may take some time to get going. Further details will be forthcoming and will be posted here on this page.
In the meantime, I would like to offer my thanks to all my customers, past and present, who have contributed to the success of the shop over the years.
