So I have the task of sifting through the 1200+ pictures taken over the past week in Italy. Decided to chuck together a few rough edits of the best from each day from last to 1st. Today I'm focusing on yesterday in Rome. Left my hotel at 5.30 am and embarked on a 2 hr drive to the Italian capital. I wanted to get a mix of urban lifestyle, to architecture to your average joe tourist spot images.
I found the Italian capital massively tourist heavy and it was difficult not to get drawn into all the popular locations. The Pantheon, Trivi Fountain, Collesuem, Vatican City etc...all bustling with tourists and was alive with multi lingual tours, all holding their umbrellas in the air so as to not loose their group for their paid sessions.
But that said, I wasn't put off by this, the Architecture is amazing, and they do love a statue in the eternal city, so I can see why it is so popular. I did manage to go off the beaten track for a while and found some equally amazing stuff to capture.
