Another half term done and just one more to go before the Summer Holidays!
Of course, we’re not the type of school to end the year quietly…
Next half term is packed with exciting opportunities and unforgettable experiences, including trips to Legoland, Leicester Space Centre, university visits and Alton Towers!
That’s alongside awards evenings, Proms, Year 6 transition events, and so many more incredible moments still to come.
For now though, we hope everyone enjoys a wonderful break and a very well-earned rest. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for an amazing final half term!

For several years, Highfields has entered the Staffordshire Schools Cricket competitions from Year 7 through to Year 10, enjoying great success by regularly reaching semi-finals and finals. This year, both the Year 7 and Year 8 teams have continued that success by reaching the quarter-final stage following two very convincing victories.
The Year 7 team comfortably progressed to the quarter-finals, with Josh and Ashton guiding the team to victory without losing a wicket. The Year 8 team were equally impressive, scoring 122 in just 12 overs, including an outstanding unbeaten 44 from Nial. The bowlers then stepped up brilliantly to dismiss the opposition for 68, highlighted by a superb five-wicket haul from Aarav.
Congratulations to both teams, who will now look to build on this success in the quarter-finals after half term.
