Make memories at Wolverhampton Art Gallery this summer!

We’re so proud to have been shortlisted for the Family Friendly Museum of the Year Award and we would love you to join us this summer to enjoy everything we have to offer.

Come to see the star of the show, our inspiring exhibition Andy Warhol: Art Star, free for under 21s. Get crafting and creating together in the Making Space and enjoy the Pop Art play area. The café has refreshing drinks and kids’ lunchboxes or you’re welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the picnic areas. There’s plenty to explore, with family trails throughout the galleries and a fantastic programme of creative workshops led by talented artists every week.

Over the past year, our T-Level students from have been working with Wolverhampton Art Gallery to transform our spaces and collections into a playable Roblox experience.

Working as an independent development team responding to a brief, the students researched, designed, built and tested a game inspired by the gallery, gaining real experience of working to a live brief for a professional client.

This video captures some of their journey from concept to completion. We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved and will be launching the game soon.
