Paying homage and raising a glass to Bon Scott at Bon Fest. Our most AC/DC esque track so thought I’d pay homage with a lil Angus/Malcolm dance by the amp. ⚡
Can we all just agree Thin Lizzy are one of the greatest bands ever.
The beauty with an improvised section like this. Is me and will bounce off each other so this section is never the same twice. Sometimes it’s passable, sometimes it’s dreadful 🤣. It is always real and in the moment though.
A lot can happen in 30 seconds.
1) turn your amp up.
2) smile at one of your best friends (who’s side of stage) because you’ve turned your amp up
3) assume premium position on the stage to play the outro guitar solo.
4) get your hair played with by your lead singer. Mr
5) tune your guitar ready for the next song

So as of this morning, I just released my first song in roughly 2 years.
In a world that is stuck in an endless cycle of doomscrolling, comparing your life on instagram or people using A.I to unethically make music/art. I beg and implore you make an effort to read your next favourite book or go and buy a new record on a whim.
This song was recorded in my lock up with 1 microphone, 2 guitars, a vocal and no autotune. It definitely isn’t perfect and it would be a minor miracle if 100 people listened to it today.
But it’s real, it’s flawed but it will always be genuine and human.
The song is called Changing.
