Universal Credit may help with childcare costs for working families on a low income.

The amount you can get depends on your circumstances, but it can cover up to 85% of registered childcare costs. It’s available for many working families, and includes holiday clubs, after-school clubs, and breakfast clubs.

PRIORY PARK UPDATE

Please see Wakefield Council's response to my query regarding the claimed funding for Priory Park:

"Thank you for your enquiry regarding Priory Park funding, my colleagues within the Parks and Open Spaces team have looked into your enquiry and they report that the there is no funding identified for the replacement of the play area at Priory Road, and that there has not been any funding identified for this in the last three years."
