To kick off Alcohol Awareness Week, we're sharing a reflection from Michelle, one of our Peer Mentors. 💙

This year's theme, "Alcohol and Me," is about exploring our personal relationship with alcohol and the impact it can have on our lives.

Michelle shares about her life in recovery:
"I've been a peer mentor for 7 years and for me it gives me a purpose, a purpose to get up in mornings that are full of worry at times but helping someone through their journeys gives that purpose, I still need reminding about my journey at the same time. "

Stories like Michelle's highlight the power of lived experience, hope, and connection. Recovery is personal, but no one has to do it alone.
