Deep in the south, in the Crescent city, lies a place of shadows and spirits. Where jazz fills the streets and the mystical lurks in every corner. Stories of voodoo and magic are commonplace, as much a part of the city as the brick work itself.
But not all of those things are just stories… spirits can be appeased with blood, and summoned for wrong doing by the right ill intentioned person. Hexes and curses can be brought on with a few choice words and the right offering.
What most would consider a bit of nonsense and fun can quickly turn sinister in the right circumstance.
The house of bourbon is known and surrounded by such rumours. That the hotel itself is a front run by the owner, Mr Deville. They say he is an evil shadow man looking to lead unsuspecting victims into his sadistic rituals and spells. But they’re all rumours… or so they say.
